Traditional meets contemporary

With a rich heritage spanning over 60 years, “Rodopska Takan” has become synonymous with Bulgarian households, crafting exquisite interior textiles, home decorator fabrics, and complementary home accessories. Our commitment to eco-friendly and natural materials, including wool and merino wool, sets us apart. Nestled in the breathtaking Rhodope mountains, in the idyllic town of Smolyan, we proudly carry forward the legacy of Bulgaria’s finest textile artisans from the Rhodope region.

Our mission

At Dreams Company Ltd., we cater to discerning buyers who value quality and exquisite taste when it comes to decorator fabrics, complementary home accessories, and furniture.

We take great delight in celebrating the essence of home by embracing the captivating colors and textures of natural fabrics. Our mission is to not only inform and inspire but also guide individuals in transforming their living spaces into unique and personalized expressions of themselves.

Our goals

At Rodopska Takan, our primary aim is to safeguard and promote the art of textile manufacturing and sheep breeding in the picturesque Rhodope region.

We are dedicated to raising awareness about the beauty and significance of traditional Bulgarian textiles while advocating for the numerous benefits of natural materials and a healthy lifestyle. In recent years, we have expanded our range to include luxurious products made from ethically-sourced premium merino wool and fine wool. We firmly believe in fostering a harmonious connection between humanity and nature, with a focus on long-term advantages for both the environment and individuals.

To ensure the sustainability and quality of our yarns, we exclusively collaborate with OEKO-TEX certified Bulgarian suppliers who provide eco-friendly materials. As a socially responsible company, we also prioritize sourcing wool from local shepherds, forging a proud partnership with farmers who breed “karakachan sheep,” a rare Bulgarian breed that faced near extinction until just a few years ago. This commitment not only preserves a vital part of our heritage but also supports the local community and promotes biodiversity.
