For over 50 years “Rodopska takan“ has been a part of every Bulgarian home, manufacturing interior textiles, home decorator fabrics and complementary home accessories from eco-friendly and natural materials such as wool and merino wool. Situated in the Rhodope mountains, in the picturesque town of Smolyan, we inherit only the finest traditions of Bulgarian and Rhodope textile makers.
Our mission
Dreams Company Ltd. is a company for discerning, quality-conscious buyers of decorator fabrics and complementary home accessories and furniture.
We celebrate the home through the colour and texture of natural fabrics. The experience informs, inspires, and shows people how to transform their home into a unique and personalized expression of themselves.
We want everyone to find something special about us. A personal favorite. That is why we constantly develop our collections. A new rug, a cozy blanket. A souvenir, accessories for you home, or a gift for a beloved person. We have it all.
Our goals
Our goal is to preserve and popularize textile manufacturing and sheep breeding in the Rhodope region.
We work hard to popularize traditional Bulgarian textiles and the advantages of natural materials and healthy living. In recent years we have also included merino wool and fine wool from Australia and New Zealand, which we use for our more luxurious products. We believe in the connection between man and nature and the long-term benefits for both the environment and the people. That is why we use eco-friendly materials for our yarns from Bulgarian suppliers who are OEKO-TEX certified. As a socially-resposnible company we also source wool from local shepherds. We are particularly proud of our relationship with local farmers, breeding “karakachan sheep”, a rare Bulgarian breed that until a few years ago was almost extinct.
